The agency is a partner of the festival.
The inauguration ceremony for the 8th International Culinary Photo Festival was held at the town hall of Paris’ 8th District at the start of the month. We naturally accepted their invitation to partner this major, well known photo festival. We will be gifting one of our porcelain creations as a prize and the surprise will be unveiled at the awards ceremony for the lucky prize-winners!
The theme of this year’s festival is haute couture and gastronomy. Two prestigious ambassadors from the worlds of gastronomy and haute couture – Christian Le Squer and Franck Sorbier – are sponsoring the event. Forty images have been shortlisted and four prizes, called Lentilles d’or, will be awarded: the “Grand Prix” for the Festival, the prize for the best gastronomic photo, the prize for the best food shot, and the public’s favourite photo. The exhibition will go on a tour of the country, showing in Paris, Bordeaux, Valencay and Toulouse. Details on dates and locations are available from the competition website. In November, I will be a part of the festival jury and I shall attend the event to award the prizes.
As you can see below, Thomas Dellemmes, the official FIPC photographer, has beautifully illustrated the competition theme on the festival’s communication materials.
