Although it is essential to have food service expertise to manage a restaurant or food catering service, it is above all crucial to understand how to design and put together effective models.
We decided to become members of the RFE group of experts, an organization which operates in France and internationally.
RFE was set up to allow those involved in the process of setting up a food catering service, from its design through to its development to share information on their specific trades and areas of expertise, discuss experiences and modifications to methods of consumption and to pass on their knowledge to the new generation of food service professionals.
RFE is also a group of experts who share the same values and quest for excellence. A total of 39 consultants and experts and 58 manufacturers pool their know-how and expertise to help projects succeed in France and abroad. Within the organisation, there are consultants and experts in setting up successful food catering services: providing assistance to the owner, project management assistance, programming, training, design, strategy, finance, legal, consultancy services, hygiene and nutrition, communication, logistics, laundry and maintenance services. Plus the best manufacturers of cooking equipment, refrigeration equipment, bakery equipment, laundry equipment, bar equipment, washing equipment, food processing equipment, automated catering equipment, machinery and appliances, warming equipment, ventilation systems, food distribution systems including conveyor belts, flooring materials and wall panels, modular kitchens and payment systems. For example, all the elements required to put together a project such as the FoodConcept Must for GL Event at the Europain Trade Fair. Something we achieved with efficacy when we set up this working bakery in a record 4 days. At the next meeting, we’ll learn more about the events and debates the organization is planning this year.
