Sylvie Amar is a seasoned globetrotter, with a fascination for objects from around the world. During her trips, she gets to meet and establish relationships with artists with a view to establishing future partnerships with top brands. On such projects, it’s essential to enable artists to embrace the brand’s DNA and any constraints without diluting either their artistic substance or the brand’s identity. The Agency was asked by the Tour d’Argent, to come up with various artistic versions of the restaurant’s emblem, the duck.
In the end, we chose artists Sylvie and Philippe Bouliet to develop a new emblematic souvenir that diners can purchase as a keepsake after their visit. Numbered certificates of authenticity have been issued by the Ateliers d’Art de France of each of these unique ducks. They are produced from a single piece without any welds, joins or bolts!
