There’s been much media coverage of the fact that burger sales have just overtaken those of the classic ham sandwich in France. Did you see the news? Two key figures stood out: 1.21 billion ham sandwiches were consumed (costing on average €2.94) versus 1.46 billion burgers in 2018 (source: Gira conseil). And we’re bang in with this new trend with our new hamburger packaging! We’ve devised a square box that opens just like a shoe box but unfolds to form a plate so you won’t get covered in sauce if you eat the burger over the plate. Get the idea? We’ve registered this design and so can customize it to match your brand values. It is distributed exclusively though Bag&Pack. We have designed a brightly coloured box for one of our clients and the impact on customers is great. So, what’s the little hole in the lid for, I hear you ask? It’s so that the burger can breathe (to let the condensation out) and to let the fries breathe too if they’re next to the burger (so they don’t go soggy). And the last great thing is that you can use the hole to spike your burger so it doesn’t move around while you’re in transit. Try it!
