IdFood, le concours innovation de la Région Ile-de-France, by le Cervia

The final of the 6th IdFood competition (Cervia’s 6th food innovation competition) was staged on June 13th in the Region’s new head office. Five of the fifteen finalists were awarded prizes by the jury. A total of 118 entries were submitted. The winners were: Fresh-me-Up (an online B-to-B sales platform for fresh produce), GreenDoz (preparations made from a variety of vegetable flours), Joe&Avrels (safou cream), Orkestra (a connected cocktail machine) and Tomm’pousse (plant-based cheeses). In addition to an invitation to attend the Sial on the Ile-de-France stand, the winners received a cheque for €2800 (from MRS-Paris, KeyFood and Invivo Food & Tech); a day’s support from Invivo, a crowdfunding campaign from KissKissBangBang, and a half day’s marketing support from Sylvie Amar Studio. So yes, we will be organizing meetings with each of the winners before the summer break to help them compile a sustainable business model with our experts – brand strategists, graphic designers, product designers, architects, writers or chef. All of us at the Studio are very proud to be helping these budding entrepreneurs and hope that their innovations will be long-lived. We are also going to keep in contact with the other partners we met as this is also one of the other keys to the success of this competition.
