Everyone in Marseille has heard of them, everyone in Aix en Provence has rediscovered them … and now, everyone can enjoy them at home! I’m referring to Toinou of course, the seafood specialists. Toinou are quite extraordinary in that they offer such a unique selection of products that you feel like a total novice discovering the treasures of the sea for the first time. While helping Toinou to define their brand strategy, we had the opportunity to rediscover crustaceans, molluscs and sea urchins and to sample violet sea snails, king crabs and Tsarskaya oysters. It is I admit, one of the pleasures and perks of our job!
But, to get back to Toinou – we helped this 60-year old family firm to align its brand identity, create its very first fine gourmet grocery store and revitalize the disposable packaging used by its catering division. We went through their archived materials to find information on the origins and birth of the brand, visiting Toinou’s sites in Aix and Marseille where over 100 people are employed to test recipes for soups, spreads, oils and vinegars. Their new range of products is being launched just before Christmas so don’t forget to try them out if you’re in or around Marseille or Aix!
