Brand strategy for innovation

Cervia Ile-de-France selected the agency to design a new identity for Ile-de-France’s 6th Food Innovation Competition. The agency came up with the new name IdFood, which stands for “Innovation, Development, Ile-de-France” as it appealed far more to participants and was shorter and easier to remember. This year’s competition will be far more widely publicized and talked about on all media platforms than ever before. Furthermore, the competition rules have also been reviewed to cover a wider selection of innovations (applications as well as dining room services for example, but clearly only if they bear some relation to food). Applications will be open online on January 15th (that’s very soon, so start thinking about it as time simply flies). The proof that this competition is arousing greater interest is that prizes this year are valued at €10,000, including a booth at the Ile-de-France Region’s pavilion at the SIAL in 2018… tempting isn’t it? Companies have been able to sign up to sponsor the event since the start of December – essentially, food businesses or food tech start-ups looking for greater visibility. Partnering such an event can sometimes be more profitable than buying targeted ads. Media partners are also keen to publicize “entrepreneur-candidates” as much as possible during the competition.

Speak about the competition to those around you. Discuss it amongst yourself as it’s a springboard for entrepreneurs and we all need to support French innovation that create new employment opportunities!
