The leader in POS signage solutions and pricing displays attended the SIRHA 2019, the world hospitality and food service event in Lyon. Our creative teams revisited French manufacturer, Bequet’s, brand strategy, visual identity and a special range of products for the catering trade. Some of these new creations were showcased at the fair including three sidewalk sign figurines – a baker, a butcher and a fishmonger. We chose to use (almost ‘hip’) bearded men to represent the modern shopkeeper and highlight the fact that the profiles of our tradesmen have changed today and are keeping pace with 21st trends. In actual fact, 40% of shopkeepers today are people who have changed careers and managed to shake off the traditional and old fashioned look of the typical local shopkeeper. These shopkeepers and Millennials will be able to associate with our contemporary designs. Distributor LaCorpo has already chosen to feature our butcher figurine in its next catalogue. We can’t wait for the new range of products and website to be released.
